Martial Arts promotes strength and coordination of the whole body, as well as providing maximum aerobic fitness and flexibility.
As one article in the New York Times stated, "In 1 hour and 15 minutes of martial arts class you will get the equivalent of
45 minutes of aerobics, 45 minutes of calisthenics and the stretch of 45 minutes of Yoga, plus the most effective means of
self-defense."
The Ultimate
in the Community
UMAF supports our children and our community. We have classes starting
at ages 2.5 to 6 (see Ultimate Kidz). We participate in school functions of our students, offer free services to the
schools, and engage teachers in our decision to promote students. Students are rewarded at UMAF for good grades and
good behavior in school.
UMAF hosts a variety of fundraisers throughout the year to support children
and various women's topic such as Breast Cancer and putting an end to domestic violence. We appreciate your generiosity
in our fundraising efforts.
